City Government
The City of Lawton is located in Southwest Oklahoma, in Comanche County. Lawton is 90 miles southwest of Oklahoma City on Interstate 44 and 54 miles north of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Lawton is home to Fort Sill Military Reservation. Fort Sill is home to the United States Army Field Artillery school.
The City of Lawton operates on a Council/Manager type of system.
