Area 1 Board Member

Donna Ronio was elected to the LPS Board in February 2006, and currently serves as vice president of the Lawton Board of Education. She represents Area 1, which includes Geronimo Road, Ridgecrest, Jackson, Swinney, Sheridan Road, part of Pat Henry (west of 18th Street) and the Medicine Park elementary school districts, along with Beginnings and Learning Tree academies for preschoolers.

Mrs. Ronio is currently employed as a service order dispatcher for V.T. Griffin Services at Fort Sill. She and husband Steven are also the longtime owners of Lasting Impressions, a home retail business. She received her education in the Lawton Public Schools, along with Great Plains Technology Center and Cameron University.

Mrs. Ronio is active in community affairs, serving on the board of the Lawton International Festival Committee. She is an active member of the Zone 1 North, Longview Heights Neighborhood Watch and is past president of the Jefferson Elementary PTA, a position she held for two years.

The Ronios have two children. Their four grandchildren are all LPS students.
